EP 69.5 The 69ing – Who Goes There Podcast

TeethFinalTurqFrights and Pints has finally come and gone. Man that was a lot of work! As a result of the charity event we didn’t have time to do our usual episode, so you get this. We’re bringing you episode 69.5 The 69ing. We talk a little about the highs and lows of the Frights & Pints weekend, and then we get into a butt load of news. Including but not limited to: John Carpenter returning to Halloween, good ole’ Stevie King’s thoughts on the Dark Tower movie, a death, a departure, a tank topped bad ass, and clunky hint at some things coming up on episode 70. Take what you get, and be happy about it. Sounds nasty. But you seem to be holding up pretty well. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast doing The 69ing.

Saturday July 25, at Ugly Dog Pub in San Diego (6344 El Cajon Blvd, 92115) we proudly bring to you: Who Goes There Podcast’s Frights & Pints Horror Movie Charity Night: Kills For A Cause! With all proceeds going to benefit Ronald McDonald House at Rady Children’s Hospital here in San Diego.

We’ll have art on display from local artists, a live painting happening, with the painting to be auctioned off at the end of the night, we’ll be playing retro video games before the movie, we’ll be having our amazing raffle with tons of prizes donated from a lot of wonderful people and companies, and of course, we’ll be showing not one, but two horrorific flicks outside on the beautiful patio! Doors are at 5 with the first film starting around 6:30, we’ll kick things off with 1986’s Critters, then we’ll kick it into high gear with one of the best slasher franchises of all time Hatchet! The bar has agreed to donate a portion of sales to the charity as well, so come play the game of drink with us!

For those of you interested in donating, but unable to make the event, we’ve set up online donations via PayPal. Anyone who donates $10 or more will get a free Who Goes There Podcast beer coozie, pins and stickers, and also be entered in an exclusive online only drawing for some sweet prizes. The donation link is below, we ask that you please give what you can, and even if you can’t donate, please share this on your facebook, twitter, anything to help spread the word.
