The 21st century has graced us with many questionable or misguided (or just fucking awful) PG13 sequels, reboots, or remakes to the pantheon of 1980’s scifi/horror/ action hybrid classics:

2009: Terminator Salvation
2012: Total Recall
2014: RoboCop
2015: Terminator Genisys

There’s also quite a few which retained the R ratings of their predecessors, with varying results:

2017: Alien: Covenant
2018: The Predator
2019: Terminator: Dark Fate
2022: Prey
2024: Alien: Romulus

This episode we discuss PREDATOR: BADLANDS, Dan Trachtenberg’s follow up to Prey and the animated anthology Predator: Killer of Killers, both of which the three of us enjoyed quite a bit.
