Horror-centric label Waxwork Records has announced details for their 2015 subscription package and it’s chock full of incredible soundtracks that you’ll be dying to get your hands on! The subscription will include the soundtrack to the 1974 sci-fi thriller Phase IV, the 1984 cult classic C.H.U.D., this year’s renowned Starry Eyes, and the incredibly rare score for Clive Barker’s Nightbreed! There are also plans for a fifth “very special release” that will be announced in the future.
That’s five LPs for a total of $180 (includes shipping) and that includes “subscriber-Only colored wax”, “surprise exclusives including merchandise, apparel, digital downloads, enamel pins, patches, and more”, and no worries about loading up the site when a title goes on sale!

Never before released in any format, and what is highly regarded as a holy-grail for soundtrack enthusiasts, Waxwork and Paramount Pictures are honored to announce the definitive soundtrack release of the 1974 mind bending science-fiction masterpiece, PHASE IV. Directed by the late, legendary poster artist and graphic designer Saul Bass, PHASE IV has gained a cult following influencing numerous films such as BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW. The bizarre, psychedelic synth driven score is sure to please.
STARRY EYES
Imagine if David Lynch, Roman Polanski, and David Cronenberg came together to make a movie. That movie would be STARRY EYES. Waxwork is excited to release the fantastic synth-laden score composed and performed by Jonathan Snipes (ROOM 237). The film has been regarded by TIME and BLOODY DISGUSTING as one of the best horror films of the past decade. We couldn’t agree more.
C.H.U.D.
Never before released in any format, we are thrilled to bring you C.H.U.D.! With the assistance of the film’s composers, Waxwork has recently unearthed the LOST master tapes featuring every musical cue from the 1984 cult-horror-classic. By painstakingly restoring the 30 year old tapes, we are beyond stoked to bring you the brooding synth score for the first time, ever. Did we mention that Ghoulish Gary Pullin is handling art duties? So, stay away from manholes and watch your step in NYC, because “They’re not staying down there anymore!”
NIGHTBREED
Hard to find and prohibitively expensive, the score to NIGHTBREED composed by Danny Elfman is regarded as his darkest masterpiece. Directed by the legendary Clive Barker, NIGHTBREED is ambitious, over the top, and fantastic. We are ecstatic to finally bring to you this newly re-mastered, obscure gem with jaw-dropping packaging artwork.
