Mondo isn’t just known for breath taking posters, they now can add toys to their catalog, and what better way to start, than with the man who started it all, Mr George Romero!
Mondo is heading to Dallas for Texas Frightmare Weekend, but before they get to the actual con, they are making a stop in Richardson at the Alamo Drafthouse/Texas Frightmare screening of Dawn of the Dead to release the very first official figure of Romero with Retroband! Mondo has have a limited amount for sale and will be making them available on a first come, first served basis to ticket holders for the 7:35PM and 8:15PM Dawn of the Dead screenings and will cost $100.

NECA has been waging a war against my paycheck for quite a while now, and they may just end up milking me for a few more bucks with the announcement of thier new Ghostface figure.
The new 8″ Retro Style Figural Doll from Wes Craven’s Scream franchise comes complete with a cloth cloak, knife and cellphone. It’s targeted for a September release at retailers. No word yet as to a price.
Iron Maiden’s Powerslave Eddie by NECA
You know we love toys and horror, we also love IRON FUCKIN’ MAIDEN! So we were beyond stoked to find out NECA is draining our wallet with the announcement of Maiden’s iconic mascot Eddie, modeled from the Powerslave album!
The “…8″ tall Eddie action figure (to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the classic Iron Maiden album Powerslave) features real metal chains that can be connected to the mouth or unhooked for when he breaks free…” and also, “…includes a bonus interchangeable second head based on the Somewhere Back In Time artwork, with the bandages stripped away to reveal more of the best that lies beneath.
