Scream TV Show To Reenact Barrymore Death?

scary movie wazzupOne of the most infamous scenes in horror movie history came in 1996 when Drew Barrymore’s character was killed off in the opening moments of Wes Craven’s Scream. It was a shock in the fact that the audience thought Barrymore was the star of the slasher.

Scream TV Show Casting Announcement & Spoiler

John Karna, Carlson Young and model Amadeus Serafini are among the top choices to lead MTV’s series pilot, says the site who also adds that “at least one of these characters — who may be played by Karna, Young and Sarafini — will not survive to see the end of the first season.Continue reading

Scream TV Series Plot Details Revealed

scream-04-gScream the movie, is soon to become Scream the TV series, and Bloody-Disgusting.com has uncovered the plot details and some casting notes for the upcoming MTV show.

“I’m told that (Wes)Craven will actually be directing the pilot(!) this summer from a screenplay by Jill Blotevogel.

Our source explains that the “rules” of slasher movies is at the center of this new series, as it has been for the franchise. The pilot explores a YouTube video that has gone viral and causes problems for the protagonist, Audrey, who is caught in the middle of murder and the town’s troubled past.
