Robert Englund To Say Goodbye To Freddy, Forever

freddyRobert Englund will officially say goodbye to Freddy Krueger at this July’s Flashback Weekend here in Chicago.

The official website announced that Englund, who will be appearing at the convention to sign autographs, will be donning his iconic Freddy makeup that made him famous.

The kicker is that there’s are photo packages with Englund while in character; this is seriously a once in a lifetime opportunity. Continue reading

NECA To Release 30th Anniversary Ultimate Freddy Figure

a-nightmare-on-elm-street-3-dream-warriors1NECA was on hand last night in New York City at the Alamo Drafthouse’s special screening of Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street.

The film, which starred Robert Englund as a spectral child murderer, will have its 30th anniversary this coming November.

NECA is recognizing the landmark with a very special 30th Anniversary “Ultimate Freddy Krueger” figure, which will stand 7″ tall and come rocking a new head sculpt, two alternate heads, the ‘tongue phone’, as well as Tina’s skinned face!

A Return to the Living Dead and Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th, is excited to announce he is taking his journey down Elm Street a lot farther and in a whole new way.
