Well, here we are again. We’re sat here once again to debate whether or not another Ghostbusters is actually necessary. After the monumental clusterfuck that was the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, old fans and new were hoping we’d seen the last of the once beloved franchise. Just because you fuck a dead horse more than once doesn’t make it ok.

But hey, now we’re getting Paul Rudd and the kid from Stranger Things so that’s cool. Surely both of them will be used in roles that make sense, impact the story and restore glory to the franchise most of us loved as children. Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.

Ep 77 Stranger Things – Who Goes There Podcast

No, not comic con, (but we’ll get to that) we’re talking about the new Netflix Original sci-fi/horror/drama Stranger Things. Rather than trying to cram 8 hours of content into an hour show we’re exploring the first 4 episodes this week, and the latter half next episode.

Like Sergeant Harry Wells, we’re cramming it all in there! We do a brief comic con wrap-up, fanboy on Castlevania, get our first glimpse at some new cenobites, talk about a new fuckin Blair Witch film and a less than exciting Exorcist tv show. If that wasn’t enough, we explore what Bill Hick’s would think about Pokemon Go, Bates Motel gets cancer, and we hang in the garden with The Cure. Remastered Ghostbusters Coming to 700+ Theaters This Summer

ghostbustersglowinthedarkvinyl2014I wasn’t able to make it out to Record Store Day 2014, but 2 of the releases I really wanted are still available! One of them I’m keeping a secret, however, the Ghostbusters glow in the dark 10″ is now available for preorder over at Sound Stage Direct!

The “ecto-green”, glow in the dark 10″ was released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film, and features the hit Ghostbusters theme (as made famous by Ray Parker Jr.) backed with the original 1984 dance remixes of the track. Best part, it’s only $17!
