Ep342: Blade 2 – WGT

February may have just come to an end, but Vampire month continues to suck! If you’ve followed our show for any prolonged period of time then you’re aware of how things work around here.

Week after week we subject Jorge to movies that he’ll dislike more often than not. When we feel that he’s finally at his breaking point we’ll attempt to appease him by reviewing a movie we think he loves. We then subsequently shit all over it, but our hearts are in the right place.

This is the sole reasoning behind including Blade 2 in our Vampire month programming. Tune in next week as we wrap up this month’s theme with 2009’s Thirst.

Ep338: Scream (1996) – WGT

My eyes are covered, colored with blood. Tell me why I don’t lie. A cold wind blows; I feel the eyes on me. All the pain flowing through my veins. 

My tied up hands are getting numb. Everyone throws stones at me, but I can’t escape. This isn’t fun at all. Who is this for? Someone please tell me. On the burning path of fire now. 

Please I don’t want to Scream (1996). Spreading in the darkness scream. 

Tricks behind the mask, ridiculous freaks, the growing hatred gives birth to random targets. I swallow up the burning thirst but hypocrisy says isn’t my fault. The end is sitting at the end of a cliff. And I’ll be a choice that only remains. 

Words that cut like a sharp knife, dig deep into scars, but the breath won’t stop. I can’t figure any of it out. Who is this for? Someone please tell me, in this rising smoke now. 

Please I don’t want to scream. (Devil eyes come, eyes open, eyes open) After everyone left I’m opening my eyes, all traces have disappeared. Can’t believe me. 

Don’t be sad, no more. For me no more. Uh huh. Forget everything you saw. Believe that nothing happened. One by one, everyone goes crazy.

Ep333: Ghostbusters: Afterlife – WGT

Well, here we are again. We’re sat here once again to debate whether or not another Ghostbusters is actually necessary. After the monumental clusterfuck that was the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, old fans and new were hoping we’d seen the last of the once beloved franchise. Just because you fuck a dead horse more than once doesn’t make it ok.

But hey, now we’re getting Paul Rudd and the kid from Stranger Things so that’s cool. Surely both of them will be used in roles that make sense, impact the story and restore glory to the franchise most of us loved as children. Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.
