Ep 230: Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire

Guess who’s back in the mother fuckin’ house, Hell House, that is! After what seems like an eternity, the time has come to shut the doors on the Hell House franchise with Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire! (Review at 42:33)

Four years ago, we checked into the Abaddon Hotel and were treated to one of the most enjoyable and unnerving cinematic experiences in recent memory. I’ll admit the sequel was every bit as good as a Motel 6 continental breakfast. But we were promised the finale to the trilogy would hands down be the crown jewel of the franchise.

In the studio this week is horror author and Patreon haomie Brian Asman. Together, we will let you know if you should check into Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire. Or maybe you just should keep heading down the road until you get to Motel Hell.

In addition to our normal hilarious hijinks, we still can’t stop talking about The Fanatic! (Full review available exclusively on Patreon.) We’ll also give you our thoughts on the first episode of American Horror Story: 1984, Intruder, Fede Alvarez taking the helm of Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Here comes fucking Parker, walking down nine miles, swinging the God damn head by the hair in one hand and his sandwich in the other. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 230!

Ep182: Hell House LLC 2: The Abaddon Hotel & Housewife

It’s finally October! Let’s be honest. Most of us get a little bit excited when the calendar flips over to October; leaves changing, Halloween decorations, pumpkin spice everything, and a shit ton of horror movies on T.V.! For us here at the Who Goes There Podcast, October also means the Telluride Horror Show! We’re starting October off the right way with a Telluride double feature!

First we’re kicking things off with Housewife (review starts at 14:00). Housewife screened at Telluride Horror show in 2017 and is the second film from Baskin director Can Evrenol. Next we’re diving in to Hell House LLC 2: The Abaddon Hotel. (Review starts at 40:00) While HHLLC2 didn’t screen at the festival, it is the sequel to the original Hell House LLC which screened in 2015.

This is life’s ultimate cruelty. It offers us a taste of youth and vitality, and then it makes us witness our own decay. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 182@

Ep. 90 – Hell House LLC – Who Goes There Podcast

3o8c3dbgTrump is President. This can only mean one thing: grab two of each animal and head for the border because the end is nigh.

This week, our buddy and Dread Central cohort Ted joins us to talk about how kids make him Twitchy, Christmas comes early for Jorge, we see things no-one else can see, and talk about Hell House LLC. I saw this last year at Telluride Horror Show and have been waiting for it’s release ever since. Did it hold up? Did Jorge hate it? Is Pan’s Labyrinth boring? Download the episode to find out!

Oh, yeah. Weed is legal in California, and we’re a lot more funny if you’re high. Sooo….
