only-lovers-left-aliveOne thing I learned early on in my marriage is “happy wife, happy life” so when my wife saw the first trailer for The Only Lovers Left Alive and gushed about it, I knew I had to keep an eye on this movie. With that, I am happy to tell you Sony Pictures has finally released an official U.S. trailer that’s pretty representational of what you’ll see in theaters April 11.

The pic “tells the tale of two fragile and sensitive vampires, Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton), who have been lovers for centuries. Both are cultured intellectuals with an all-embracing passion for music, literature and science, who have evolved to a level where they no longer kill for sustenance, but still retain their innate wildness.”

cannibalferoxvinylIt seems like horror soundtracks on vinyl is the new fad obsession, well, here’s another for ya. In case you’re asking, “Guys, what makes this vinyl horror soundtrack so special?” To which we’d reply, “who said you could speak to us?”, if we weren’t assholes, we may have said “because this one has a cover that’s illegal to show in many countries!”

 One Way Static has announced that pre-orders are now open for their vinyl reissue of the 1981 controversial Italian horror film Cannibal Ferox (aka Make Them Die Slowly), which was composed by Roberto Donati (who was credited as Budy Maglione). Continue reading

Daylight vs. ReLive, Two “Bump in the Night” Type Games

daylightI wouldn’t say I’m afraid of the dark, more so afraid of what could be lurking in the shadows. I allow my mind to play tricks on me, create monsters and demons out of coat racks and tree branches. This and the idea of solitude are my two biggest fears, and very soon there will be a two new games to help me on my path to cardiac arrest.
