Ep 133: Se7en – WGT

We’re hoping into the way-back machine to the year 1995; a simpler time when Jim Carrey would use his butt to talk, and people listened to “alternative” music. While we were nerding out over News Radio and Mr. Show, the rest of the country was falling in love with Brad Pitt. In 1995, Brad Pitt teamed up with David Fincher and Morgan Freeman to make Se7en; a movie about bad things happening to bad people, because God.

Join us, we’re gonna find out what sin we would be killed for, and how we’d be done in; it’s gonna be a hoot! Plus, we’re testing out Jorge’s theory that “everything from the 90’s is amazing!”

If you ain’t gonna do me right, I might just do you in, ain’t that a sin? No, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 133!

Ep 132: mother! – WGT

By now I’m sure you’ve all heard about how “divisive” Darren Aronofsky’s mother! is. Many people are calling mother! the best film of the year, while many others have deemed it “the worst movie of all time. Well, who cares what anyone else thinks, here’s what WE think! As if our sage words weren’t enough, Alia makes a special appearance, so there’s almost certainly talk about dicks at some point.

Also, we’re well aware that this episode is late. In case you didn’t know, hockey has started so there.

If this is as exciting as it gets, we’re in big trouble, dude. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast Episode 132!

Ep 131: IT (2017) – WGT

The time, is finally upon us. After what feels like an eternity of waiting, and the laughably bad adaptations of the Dark Tower, and The Mist tv series, we finally get what we’ve all been waiting for; we finally get…IT!

Join us, as we get swept away (see what I did there?) in trying to figure out if 2017’s IT did justice to the original. But wait, there’s more! Download now, and you’ll also get to hear who we think should play the kids as grown ups, how to milk a shark franchise, and what Chris thought of American Horror Story: Cult.

So there ya have it. Wax up your paper boat, put on your goulashes, and run headfirst into a new episode of awesomeness. Don’t worry, we don’t float down here. We’re too fat.

We recommend that until we can get to you, you stand on your heads, with your thumbs up; it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 131!

Ep 130: Killing Ground

Buckle up, kiddos! This week, we’re going on a little trip down under; so grab your sunscreen and a baseball bat, because everything wants to kill you in Australia! We’re coming at you with another of our now infamous Patreon picks, and this go ’round the haomies wanted us to review 2017’s Killing Ground.

“Sam and Ian take off on what they believe will be a peaceful camping trip. Their break turns into a battle for survival when they discover a bloody toddler wandering around in the bush and find that an incredibly disturbing crime has been committed.”

Join us as we ponder some of life’s most perplexing questions. For example: is there really a difference between Australians and the folks from New Zealand? Are acts of violence and just as offensive if they happen offscreen, or is it worse because your mind connects the dots for you? If you spike an infant in the end zone, does that count as excessive celebration?

You haven’t changed, I see. You’ve always loved violence. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 130!
