Kevin Smith’s Tusk Gets Trailer & Release Date Johnny Depp To Cameo

Tusk-663x1024A24 has announced a September 19, 2014 release for Kevin Smith’s Tusk, while also releasing a debut trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Smith also released the first image (below) for the flick depicting the film’s antagonist (Justin Long) and protagonist (Michael Parks) in what looks to be an awkward conversation. Continue reading

First Official Poster For Kevin Smith’s Tusk

Tusk-663x1024A24 shared the first official poster (left) for their upcoming horror film, Tusk, about a man (Justin Long) who is surgically turned into a walrus by a mysterious seafarer (Michael Parks).

The pic, inspired by The Human Centipede, also stars Haley Joel Osment and Genesis Rodriguez. It was acquired by A24 for release later this year.

Kevin Smith Brings Krampus Back To Christmas

krampusRemember when Kevin Smith said something to the effect of “I’m going to make Clerks 3, then retire”? Apparently that’s coming after a few directorial detours.

Looks like Smith is will be making a third horror film, Anti-Claus. He just wrapped up Tusk and is recycling a good part of the cast (Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez and Michael Parks) for his Christmas Krampus contribution. Continue reading

Kevin Smith’s “Tusk” Gets New Poster By Michael Scott Murphy

tuskWe’re all really excited about Kevin Smith’s newest venture into horror, with the film Tusk which follows a podcaster who sets out to interview an eccentric, reclusive old seafarer, only to find himself a plaything in the gruesome plot of a deranged killer. Today we bring you a new poster (left) for the film, done by Michael Scott Murphy. To say I NEED this is an understatement.

 

Kevin Smith Finishes Krampus Script

Kevin Smith’s “retirement” is turning out to be more productive than his directorial career. Since “retiring” the director of Clerks recently wrapped principal photography on his podcast-inspired horror flick Tusk and already has another script at the ready, breaking the news on his Facebook page:
