In some of the biggest nonsense I’ve heard lately: Shinji Mikami’s upcoming survival horror game The Evil Within — known as Psycho Break in Japan — is clearly a hotly anticipated game both here and overseas. Unfortunately, those who reside in Japan will either have to endure a censored version of the game or preorder it to gain access to The Gore Mode DLC, which unlocks all of the blood and viscera you could ever want. Dead Rising Coming to the Big Screen…Kinda
It’s hard to believe that Dead Rising made its debut on the Xbox 360 eight long years ago. It was the reason my wife and I even got an Xbox 360, and now, six games later and we’re finally getting a feature-length movie adaptation.
Now before you get too excited, you should know that this won’t see a theatrical release. Instead, it will premiere as a timed exclusive on Crackle, Sony’s VOD platform, before it’s made available on-demand elsewhere and on physical media. Continue reading

DOOM Teaser spotted!
Unless you live under a rock, you know the annual Electronics Entertainment Expo, or E3, was this weekend in Los Angeles. Showcasing some of the latest and greatest in mainly video games. And since we all love horror and gore, we here at Who Goes there Podcast felt it was our DUTY to keep you in the loop about some of the best horror games announced this year.

Do You Feel The Evil Within?
The Evil Within is a game that has had me personally excited since it was announced last year. It’s got everything we love to see on this site. Gore, Thrills, Horror, and more GORE! Sadly, we weren’t able to attend E3 to play this game, but there were definitely a lot of people praising this game’s demo for being about to scare the intestines out of them.

Remember when Resident Evil was actually a survival horror game, that was both horrifying, and had an emphasis on survival? Well, RE creator Shinji Mikami does, and he’s ready to terrify us again, with his new game The Evil Within.
The Bethesda Softworks has unveiled the cover art (below), and announced the game will be released in North America on August 26 and August 29th in Europe on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. What do you guys think of the cover? Had you heard of the game before?
