Fox To Bring Back X-Files

Following the success of Fox’s 24 limited series, the network is looking to bring back another iconic drama series, The X-Files. Fox TV Group chairman Gary Newman today confirmed chatter that the network is in talks for a new installment of Chris Carter’s cult supernatural drama, which starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. Newman went on to say he was “hopeful” about the outcome. Continue reading

Escape From New York Reboot Back On

snake-plissken-chroniclesOk, so it’s not horror news, but Kurt Russell news will get just as much attention here, until the day comes where I’m not the only one doing news.

After years in development and a trip to turnaround, Fox has emerged from competitive bidding and closed a deal to remake the 1981 John Carpenter-directed cult classic Escape From New York, Deadline was the first to report.

Carpenter will be an executive producer and will exert creative influence over the project. Continue reading

We’ll See New Aliens in Prometheus Sequel

deacon_alien_prometheus_roar_by_grisador-d5ydgb6-620x400Back in October Noomi Rapace, who plays Elizabeth Shaw in Prometheus, exclaimed that God or the Devil will appear in Ridley Scott’s planned sequel.

Scott refutes this a bit in a new interview with The Austrailian. In it, he explains that the script, which is “written (and)…really good,” is “fresh” and “getting away from gods and dragons and shit. If I see one more dragon I’m going to shoot myself. Stop the dragons.” Continue reading

The android Bishop comes from James Cameron’s 1986 Aliens, and features the likeness of actor Lance Henriksen. It is guaranteed to be the most surly action figure in your entire collection.

And since we all love horror and gore, we here at Who Goes there Podcast felt it was our DUTY to keep you in the loop about some of the best horror games announced this year.
