After years in development and a trip to turnaround, Fox has emerged from competitive bidding and closed a deal to remake the 1981 John Carpenter-directed cult classic Escape From New York, Deadline was the first to report.
Carpenter will be an executive producer and will exert creative influence over the project. Continue reading

As a special Friday the 13th treat, Anchor Bay and Scream Factory have revealed the box art for the beyond epic Halloween: The Complete Collection, which slashes onto Blu-ray September 23rd. It comes in two different sets, one with 10 discs and the other with 15, but the deluxe version is most certainly the way to go since it contains restored versions of alternate cuts of many of the films.

Whelp, I can kiss another $170 goodbye. Anchor Bay and Scream Factory will release Halloween: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray September 23rd. Last week, Image comics released some sweet image teasers for a new comic series from Justin Jordan and Kyle Strahm called, The Spread.
