Salutations, ya slack-jawed shit-slingers. The earth has once again traveled all the way around the sun, so you know what that mean! It means all of you idiots are going to make pointless resolutions that you’re never going to stick to, and you’re going to clog up the gym for a month before settling back into your crumb-covered couches. I have a home gym though, so clearly I’m superior and unaffected by your sloth-like nature.

In addition to that we’re reviewing our picks for the best and worst films of 2022. Huzzah! Halfway through 2022 we’d been discussing how the world of horror was severely lacking this year. Shortly after that all changed as our eyes were blessed with some real heavy hitters. So here it is, our best and worst of 2022. Do you agree with us? Evenin’, bitches! Tonight we’re gonna talk shit like it’s 1999! That’s right, jerky-tits! The Who Goes There Podcast is once again time traveling back to the 1990’s! That means it’s time for an episode jam packed with JNCO jeans, Collective Soul songs, and your-mom jokes!

While some of that may be true, we’re definitely going to discuss four or five short films, crammed into a five pound sack if ya know what I mean. That’s right; it’s time to tackle 2022’s V/H/S/99.

I may not be a huge fan of anthology films, but V/H/S/99 reaffirmed the fact that I would much rather watch 5 20 minute films vs one two-hour film.

Enter the 2022 Dutch/Danish film Speak No Evil. A stark look at what exactly we’re willing to overlook in the name of friendship as a miserable, old, fuck. Also, have you ever seen the awesome 80’s film from 1991 called The People Under The Stairs? The writers of this film sure as shit have. Come, you listen.

Through the ups and downs we have persevered as a fandom, and as a community, and now we gather together to witness the final showdown between good and evil. Or maybe we won’t. Maybe we’ll just bring on a new host. Then we can talk to them for over half of the show. Maybe then we’ll realize we need an ending and shoehorn a discussion about a film.

We know, we hear you. “But Pinhead is a girl! Why are all movies woke now.” and to that we’ll say, shut the fuck up, stupid. We’re going to talk all about all the things and to be honest, Pinhead being a woman (although I’d argue they’re meant to be more androgynous like in the book) is the least of this films issues.
