Last week, Image comics released some sweet image teasers for a new comic series from Justin Jordan and Kyle Strahm called, The Spread. Pumpkinhead and Pumpkinhead 2 Bloodwings Coming To Blu-ray!
Good news for 80′s horror fans, Stan Winston aficionados and the Lance Henriksen devoted. Scream Factory will be issuing Pumpkinhead and Pumpkinhead II: Bloodwings on Blu-ray.
Per the studio, “Pumpkinhead will be a ‘Collector’s Edition’ (in fact, artwork is just about done) and Pumpkinhead II will be a separate release. No further details at this time but we’ll keep you posted on developments during our ‘Summer of Fear.’”
Insidious 3 To Be More Like The First
Leigh Whannell, who, penned both Insidious films, and also starred in both as “Specs”, one half of the ghost hunting duo, hit Twitter with a brief update on the sequel.
“Insidious 3 is a lot more like part one than two,” he reveals. “I’m working on it right now, so thought I’d tell those who care where it’s headed.” Continue reading
Walking Dead Spinoff To Be Unrelated To Comics
You can’t please everyone, all the time, and AMC’s The Walking Dead is a prime example of this. The zombie drama (loosely) based on the long running comic of the same name is a smash hit, a hit that has left a sour taste in the mouths of many long time fans. One of the biggest complaints being the show has strayed too far from the books, and is far too drawn out.
In what has yet to be determined as either an attempt to appease those fans, or mearly another cash grab AMC announced “The Walking Dead” spinoff, which Kirkman already revealed that follow “another group of characters, surviving in another part of the world.” Some see it as a chance at a clean slate, as Kirkman also revealed that it would not “use any of the core cast from” the current show. Sid Haig Stars in Horror Comedy Devil In My Ride
Did you love The Hangover, but it just wasn’t evil enough for you? Well you’re in luck; FilmBuff will release Red Band Films’ horror/comedy Devil in My Ride starring Sid Haig (Devil’s Rejects/Kill Bill Vol 2) on May 13th through multiple Video-on-Demand platforms.
Directed by Gary Michael Schultz, the film is about a bride possessed by the devil on her wedding night, her groom Hank and her rebellious brother Travis who must put aside their differences to travel across country from Chicago to Las Vegas in the hopes of finding a mythical street preacher who is said to be the last exorcist in America.
