Who Goes There Podcast ep 32 Bay of Blood/Twitch of the Death Nerve w/ Chris Woods of The Sleaze Box

846-Bay-of-BloodI find it rather strange that until today, we’ve only done one slasher flick on our podcast (Maniac). Not only are slashers my favorite type of horror movie; they’re jam packed with gruesome, innovative deaths, high body counts, and more boobs than you could shake…well…a bunch of boobs at!

In this episode we’re joined by Chris Woods of The Sleaze Box, to take a look at what is arguably the godfather of the slasher genre as we know it, Mario Bava’s 1971 classic Twitch of the Death Nerve, better known as Bay of Blood! It’s got it all, cheesy dialouge, jiggly boo boos, stupid teenagers, brutal deaths, and buckets of blood! So grab your water wings, because down here, we all float. Australia’s newest export is the supernatural horror flick The Babadook! We first heard about this film over a year ago, and have been trying ever since to get our grubby little hands on. We’re joined by our buddy Cody from Three B Zine to answer the questions: Did it live up to the hype? Did we see children getting hurt through the whole movie? Who Goes There Podcast Episode 30 – “Found” w/ Amigo The Devil

It seems oddly appropriate that our 30th episode would be a Halloween episode, with our good friend Amigo The Devil, about a movie that is “as horror as horror gets”. In what is, without a doubt one of the most funny episodes we’ve ever done, we take a look at 2012’s Found, and things get weird. In what Jorge describes as “the most uncomfortable conversation I’ve ever been a part of”, we’ve got mammary mastication, edible eyeballs, adolescent ball gags, severed head sex acts, blood baths, and our usual stupid jokes.So sit tight, and keep the home fires burning, and if we’re not back by dawn, call the president. Who Goes There Podcast Episode 29 – ABC’s of Death 2

abcs-of-death-2Man, it feels sooo good to be bringing you guys episode 29! We know it’s been a while, but life happens, life sucks, ya deal with it and move on. So here we are, moving on.

We’ve got something really special for you this time around; we watched a movie that we both actually liked…mostly. We’ve got amatuer assassins, He-man style warriors, bath salts, creepy claymation cockroach people, Frankenboobs, African tribesman, and a gay Jesus? Yeah, all of that in a 90 minute movie! We watched ABC’s of Death 2, and boy did we have thoughts and opinions!

From here on out things should be running a little more smoothly, so put your bed sheet over your head, grab your candy bucket, and head to the pumpkin patch, we’re waiting for the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It’s Who Goes There Podcast episode 29!

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 26 – Deliver Us From Evil w/ Guest Erin Breen

Comic Con is over, summer is in full swing, and it’s hotter than two naked ladies in a pepper patch here in San Diego, so we went to use the air conditioning at the movie theater. While we were there we saw 2014’s Deliver Us From Evil and boy oh boy did we have thoughts and opinions on this movie. We needed an expert on demonic possession to help us out; we brought in possessed bride Erin Breen (Devil In My Ride) to drink beer and share her thoughts. Hang on folks, we’ve got a baby chucking, knife fighting, cat hating, demon possessed show for ya. Eat of my body, and drink of my blood, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast.

We’re bringing you this episode a week late, unfortunately we had our recording software crap the bed and lost a few minutes near the beginning. We tried really hard to recover it, and thought about recording a different episode, but we had so much fun, and Erin was such a great guest, we decided to bring it to you anyway. We hope it’s not too unnerving.
