Mini Episode: Telluride Horror Show 2017 – WGT

For the last eight years, darkness has descended on the quiet mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: “The second weekend of October is my favorite weekend of the year.” This is the weekend of the Telluride Horror Show! Set against a gorgeous backdrop of tree lined, snow covered mountain tops, the Telluride Horror Show has quickly cemented itself as one of the countries best horror film festivals.

Alia and I were once again lucky enough to be invited to join in the festivities, and this years event was even better than the last! Unfortunately we forgot a very important piece of recording equipment back in San Diego, and we had to make the best of what we had. Fair warning, the audio quality is fine, just not up to the normal Who Goes There Podcast standards. Join us, as we recap the films we saw, those we loved, one we didn’t, and declare our without-a-doubt “best of show.”

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 37 – Digging Up The Marrow

digging-up-the-marrowWe all love monsters, freaks, creeps, and things that go bump in the night, but what if they were real? I’m not talking about the cute little Disney ones either, but actual, rip for face off, slash your guts out monsters. This is the idea behind this weeks feature Adam Green & Alex Pardee’s Digging Up The Marrow. Come listen as we have Chris in the studio for the first time, and Alia for a record setting 200th time, which can only mean one thing, we got shit faced, even came pretty close to turning into monsters ourselves. That’s my mother you’re pissing on, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 37.

Next time around we’ll be taking a look at 2014’s bat shit crazy Wolfcop! Check it out and play along with us! While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 36 – Fear Clinic

youfeed-slipknot-s-corey-taylor-talks-about-the-experience-of-being-part-of-the-movie-fear-clinicBoy oh boy, do we have a humdinger of an episode for you! We recorded this shortly after our last episode went up, and it’s been really hard to sit on it (that’s what she said) for the last week or so.

Robert Englund retired from playing Freddy Kruger and the first thing he did, was check himself into 2014’s Fear Clinic. Obviously we had to check it out, right? I don’t want to give any of that away, but we also get into some GWAR news, talk a little vidja games, hell, we’ve even got comics and music on this episode! For once we actually did what we said we were going to.

We even went ahead and figured out our next film! We were lucky enough to get a screener of the new Adam Green/Alex Pardee film Digging Up The Marrow! Check that out this Friday (2/20) and play along on our next episode. While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.
