Jason Xmas Web Series Episode 1 Up Now
What do you get when you cross a beloved Crystal Lake killer with the biggest commercial holiday? Well you get Jason Xmas of course! Ok, so the name isn’t all that clever, but at least it’s not Zombie With a Shotgun.
Jason Xmas is a ten-part mini-series that has Jason going after his victims during Christmas time. A quick trivia note: The opening scene was shot in Blairstown, NJ, where the original film was shot. Fans will probably recognize the street from the movie.
In this first episode Jason invites himself to a family’s holiday reunion. The mystery of Jason’s latest target will become unveiled as the series continues. A new episode will be released monthly up until the exciting conclusion this upcoming Christmas 2014!

Only Lovers Left Alive Trailer
One thing I learned early on in my marriage is “happy wife, happy life” so when my wife saw the first trailer for The Only Lovers Left Alive and gushed about it, I knew I had to keep an eye on this movie. With that, I am happy to tell you Sony Pictures has finally released an official U.S. trailer that’s pretty representational of what you’ll see in theaters April 11.

It seems like horror soundtracks on vinyl is the new fad obsession, well, here’s another for ya. In case you’re asking, “Guys, what makes this vinyl horror soundtrack so special?” To which we’d reply, “who said you could speak to us?”, if we weren’t assholes, we may have said “because this one has a cover that’s illegal to show in many countries!”

Daylight vs. ReLive, Two “Bump in the Night” Type Games
I wouldn’t say I’m afraid of the dark, more so afraid of what could be lurking in the shadows. I allow my mind to play tricks on me, create monsters and demons out of coat racks and tree branches. This and the idea of solitude are my two biggest fears, and very soon there will be a two new games to help me on my path to cardiac arrest.

Sam Raimi/Sony Producing “The Last of Us” Live Action Movie
Screen Gems will officially distribute the live action film The Last of Us based on the critically-acclaimed PlayStation 3 exclusive video game, developed by Naughty Dog.
Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director for the game, will also write the script for the film.
On behalf of Naughty Dog, the project will be produced by Co-Presidents’ Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, as well as Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley, along with Sam Raimi via their Ghost House Pictures banner. Continue reading
