Radcliffe’s Frankenstein Pushed Back 9 Months

Exclusive... Daniel Radcliffe On The Set Of FrankensteinJanuary is normally when studios dump the films they expect to under perform. (see Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) After I, Frankenstein turned out to be a steaming turd (as expected), 20th Century Fox has shifted their Frankenstein nine months, moving it into an October date.

Starring James McAvoy as Viktor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe as Igor, it will now hit theaters on October 2, 2015.

Why Aren’t You Watching ABC’s Resurrection?

ABCresurrection200Seeming to have so far gone widely under the radar; ABC’s new supernatural drama Resurrection could be the best new show of the spring. While not quite obvious how horror driven this show will be, the first two episodes have been jam packed with paranormal awesomeness, zombies, and a whole lot of “what the hell is going on?!” Episode 3 aira this Sunday night, or catch the first 2 episodes on Hulu.

 

Last House on The Left Picture Disc

last-house-on-the-left-2I shouldn’t be telling you guys this, that will just make it harder for me to find one; One Way Static has announced that their remastered Last House On The Left soundtrack, which was composed and performed by David Hess, will be getting a limited picture disc variant for Record Store Day. Limited to only 1,500 copies, the records are almost certainly going to sell out within minutes and become a collector’s item, it hits stores on April 19th!

Tex Montana Will Survive Trailer Is Brilliant

TexMontanaSo yeah, it’s no secret we’ve got a collective boner for The Battery, we’ve only talked about it in almost every episode of our show. Well director/star Jeremy Gardner just now tweeted a teaser trailer for his new film Tex Montana Will Survive and I nearly pissed myself laughing. Gardner once again teams up with The Battery cinematographer Christian Stella, who spawned the idea for the film by “proudly proclaiming (he) would NEVER film a found footage movie”.

First Trailer For The Maze Runner

Maze-RunnerThe Maze Runner, the best-selling young adult novel by James Dashner is getting making it’s way to theaters, and we have the first official teaser trailer for you viewing pleasure.

The Wes Ball directed film will star Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Will Poulter and Aml Ameen.

The Maze Runner will open in the States on September 19, and in the UK October 24.

Ghostbusters Reboot Loses Director

GBwallpaperI don’t believe in devine intervention, but the universe is sending constant signs that this Ghostbusters reboot shouldn’t happen!

A recent Deadline exclusive, revealed the latest in a long line of setbacks for the third installment of this classic franchise; the departure of director Ivan Reitman.  In the wake of the death of his close friend and original Ghostbuster Harold Ramis, Reitman announced he’d rather just produce the film, just as Sony announced a projected 2015 start of production.
