There’s not too many genre mashup monster/comedy/adventure/horror films out there, and even less that are any good. What other cases can be made against 1990’s TREMORS? Well, it’s PG-13, so there’s that. It has Reba McEntire and the Dad from Family Ties.

Mini Episode: Telluride Horror Show 2017 – WGT

For the last eight years, darkness has descended on the quiet mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: “The second weekend of October is my favorite weekend of the year.” This is the weekend of the Telluride Horror Show! Set against a gorgeous backdrop of tree lined, snow covered mountain tops, the Telluride Horror Show has quickly cemented itself as one of the countries best horror film festivals.

Alia and I were once again lucky enough to be invited to join in the festivities, and this years event was even better than the last! Unfortunately we forgot a very important piece of recording equipment back in San Diego, and we had to make the best of what we had. Fair warning, the audio quality is fine, just not up to the normal Who Goes There Podcast standards. Join us, as we recap the films we saw, those we loved, one we didn’t, and declare our without-a-doubt “best of show.”

Dolph Lundgren plays a grizzled demon hunter who, through a string of bizarre murders, tracks an ancient demon to a sleepy mountain town. The Swedish Dong Hammer then proceeds to fuck everything warm and wet, all while carrying a big ass net. Yeah, buddy.

In a last minute decision, (maybe we’re not maturing after all) we chose to do the 2016, Shudder exclusive We Are The Flesh. Without giving too much away, we had no idea that we were in for an unnerving, hyper sexual, mind fuck of a journey.

In addition to, whatever this film was, we talk about bloodshed at the ballpark, nightmares of the minuscule variety, penises, vaginas, and all that kinda thing.
