Ep 77 Stranger Things – Who Goes There Podcast

JmkrQA8yWith Ghostbusters in theaters and the drama cooling down, there’s something new on everyone’s lips. No, not comic con, (but we’ll get to that) we’re talking about the new Netflix Original sci-fi/horror/drama Stranger Things. Rather than trying to cram 8 hours of content into an hour show we’re exploring the first 4 episodes this week, and the latter half next episode.

Like Sergeant Harry Wells, we’re cramming it all in there! We do a brief comic con wrap-up, fanboy on Castlevania, get our first glimpse at some new cenobites, talk about a new fuckin Blair Witch film and a less than exciting Exorcist tv show. If that wasn’t enough, we explore what Bill Hick’s would think about Pokemon Go, Bates Motel gets cancer, and we hang in the garden with The Cure. If Little Red Riding Hood should show up with a bazooka and a bad attitude, I expect you to chin the bitch; it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 77. See you next Tuesday… cunts.

Six Demon Gab Premier – Pine Box Boys Interview

maxresdefaultHowdy kids, welcome to the first installment of Six Demon Gab! We get a lot of interview opportunities and never really knew what to do with them, and some end up being too long to be included in a regular episode of the Who Goes There Podcast, so we’ve created Six Demon Gab.

We’ll still have our regular show every two weeks, but now if we get a chance to talk to someone outside the show we’ll be able to bring you more awesome horror content! For our first installment, Chris had to clean his shorts (as he often does) as he sat down and talked with one of his favorite bands, stabbing enthusiasts The Pine Box Boys! We’d love to know what you think of the new addition to Who Goes There?

Who Goes There Podcast episode 31 – The Babadook

1408495006108_wps_19_The_Babadook_Movie_s_PhotA lot of great things have come out of Australia: Nick Cave, 1997’s The Ugly, Kylie Minogue’s butt. Australia’s newest export is the supernatural horror flick The Babadook! We first heard about this film over a year ago, and have been trying ever since to get our grubby little hands on. We’re joined by our buddy Cody from Three B Zine to answer the questions: Did it live up to the hype? Did we see children getting hurt through the whole movie? Did we drink a ton of beer during the movie and the recording of this episode? Grab your Fosters and Vegemite, we’re going to a land down under, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 31!

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 30 – “Found” w/ Amigo The Devil

FoundAmigoHere it is, our dirty 30! It seems oddly appropriate that our 30th episode would be a Halloween episode, with our good friend Amigo The Devil, about a movie that is “as horror as horror gets”. In what is, without a doubt one of the most funny episodes we’ve ever done, we take a look at 2012’s Found, and things get weird. In what Jorge describes as “the most uncomfortable conversation I’ve ever been a part of”, we’ve got mammary mastication, edible eyeballs, adolescent ball gags, severed head sex acts, blood baths, and our usual stupid jokes. So sit tight, and keep the home fires burning, and if we’re not back by dawn, call the president. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast, episode 30!

Tune in next time when we finally get to watch The Babadook! While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 29 – ABC’s of Death 2

abcs-of-death-2Man, it feels sooo good to be bringing you guys episode 29! We know it’s been a while, but life happens, life sucks, ya deal with it and move on. So here we are, moving on.

We’ve got something really special for you this time around; we watched a movie that we both actually liked…mostly. We’ve got amatuer assassins, He-man style warriors, bath salts, creepy claymation cockroach people, Frankenboobs, African tribesman, and a gay Jesus? Yeah, all of that in a 90 minute movie! We watched ABC’s of Death 2, and boy did we have thoughts and opinions!

From here on out things should be running a little more smoothly, so put your bed sheet over your head, grab your candy bucket, and head to the pumpkin patch, we’re waiting for the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It’s Who Goes There Podcast episode 29!

Tune in next time when we check out 2012’s Found with our good friends Amigo The Devil! (It’s already been recorded, so yeah, it’ll happen) While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 27 – The People Under The Stairs

peopleunderthestairsbd2dWe need to learn, never tease the next episode. This episode is coming to you a bit late, it was supposed to be about Sleepaway Camp, featuring our friend Lauren Ashley Carter, however due to technical difficulties we couldn’t make that episode happen. (YET!)

Fear not! We rounded up the always fun Alia, and Chris and took a look at some of the recent news in the world of horror, including the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a real life Purge, Ghostbusters 3, and a new Silent Hill game! If that wasn’t enough, we walk down memory lane with 1991’s cult classic The People Under The Stairs. We’re eating our enemies and spitting out the buckshot, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 27!

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 26 – Deliver Us From Evil w/ Guest Erin Breen

Deliver-Us-From-Evil-PosterCooooooooooooooooon! Comic Con is over, summer is in full swing, and it’s hotter than two naked ladies in a pepper patch here in San Diego, so we went to use the air conditioning at the movie theater. While we were there we saw 2014’s Deliver Us From Evil and boy oh boy did we have thoughts and opinions on this movie. We needed an expert on demonic possession to help us out; we brought in possessed bride Erin Breen (Devil In My Ride) to drink beer and share her thoughts. Hang on folks, we’ve got a baby chucking, knife fighting, cat hating, demon possessed show for ya. Eat of my body, and drink of my blood, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast.

We’re bringing you this episode a week late, unfortunately we had our recording software crap the bed and lost a few minutes near the beginning. We tried really hard to recover it, and thought about recording a different episode, but we had so much fun, and Erin was such a great guest, we decided to bring it to you anyway. We hope it’s not too unnerving.

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 25 – Under The Skin

hr_Under_the_Skin_3We’re getting this up a day late, but that only because we love America so much, we celebrated the shit out of her birthday, and it took us a few days to recover. We’re also celebrating a birthday here at Who Goes There! We’ve been going at it for a year now, 25 episodes and we’re just getting started. We’re kicking off year two with aliens, “Jeff The Dog Faced Boy”, Jack Burton’s porno dialogue, a look down memory lane, and a movie that for some unholy reason managed to desexualize a fully nude Scarlett Johansson – 2013’s Under The Skin. Is it the critcal darling it’s made out to be? Or is it an out of this world pile of shit? Put on your stars and bars, we’re doing this shit for America! It’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 25!

Episode 26 we take a look at Deliver Us From Evil, with special guest Erin Breen of Devil In My Ride. While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.
