Friday The 13th TV Show Announced, To Explore Voorhees Origins
First we got Bates Motel, a tv show based on Psycho, then Krueger: The Slasher From Elm Street was announced (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and now Friday the 13th is getting a television show. (ANOES and FT13 both already had tv shows in the 90’s)
Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films and Crystal Lake Entertainment have set a deal to produce a new hourlong dramatic series based upon the characters and settings of Friday The 13th. Continue reading

Marilyn Manson Pens Salem Theme Song
Official news has hit that shock rocker Marilyn Manson has teamed up with composer Tyler Bates to create the theme song to the new WGN America show Salem. The track, entitled “Cupid Carries A Gun”, will take over as the opening title sequence from the second episode on.
