Who Goes There Podcast Episode 38 – Wolfcop w/ Ryan Reidy of Condemned

tumblr_n2lv1j7h4b1qh8smzo1_1280Wolf sex. That’s right, we talk about wolf sex. All that talk about not drinking beer flew right out the window, and we got nice and drunk with our buddy Ryan Reidy of death metal band Condemned to talk about 2014’s Wolfcop. Now, I could give you an idea of the things we discuss, but I think letting you loose to take this wild ride blind is much more fun. Trust us, it gets a little…hairy. You see what I did there? There’s a bad man in our house, it’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 38!

Next time around we’ll be taking a look at down under zombie flick Wyrmwood! Check it out and play along with us! While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.

Who Goes There Podcast Episode 36 – Fear Clinic

youfeed-slipknot-s-corey-taylor-talks-about-the-experience-of-being-part-of-the-movie-fear-clinicBoy oh boy, do we have a humdinger of an episode for you! We recorded this shortly after our last episode went up, and it’s been really hard to sit on it (that’s what she said) for the last week or so.

Robert Englund retired from playing Freddy Kruger and the first thing he did, was check himself into 2014’s Fear Clinic. Obviously we had to check it out, right? For once we actually did what we said we were going to.

We even went ahead and figured out our next film! We were lucky enough to get a screener of the new Adam Green/Alex Pardee film Digging Up The Marrow! Check that out this Friday (2/20) and play along on our next episode. While you’re being awesome and listening to this check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and subscribe to our show on iTunes.

Several Release Posters For It Follows

it_followsCheck out several new one-sheets for David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows – already the most anticipated horror film of the year – which Radius-TWC will release on March 27th.

“For 19-year-old Jay (Maika Monroe), the fall should be about school, boys and weekends at the lake. Yet after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter she suddenly finds herself plagued by nightmarish visions; she can’t shake the sensation that someone, or something, is following her. As the threat closes in, Jay and her friends must somehow escape the horrors that are only a few steps behind.” Continue reading

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Pushed Back

ResidentEvilRevelations2I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be making its episodic debut a week later than originally planned — see revised release dates below — to allow for some additional fine-tuning. There’s always the Resident Evil HD remake to hold you over.

The good news is the bad news wasn’t all that bad, and we have some spooky monster footage, courtesy of the lovely folks at Capcom who only want the best for us. Continue reading

Did Jason Voorhees Just Kill Last Year?

LastYear_F13-620x400Jason Voorhees won’t be returning from his decades long vacation from video games for another nine months and he’s already claimed his first victim. Last week, the Kickstarter page for the indie slasher game Last Year was taken down and replaced with a claim of a copyright violation submitted by the rights holders of the Friday the 13th film franchise.

We’ve mentioned Last Year on a couple of our shows, and have been really excited since hearing about it, we even made the comparison between the two games. Continue reading

She’s steamier than a hot shit on a cold day, and I couldn’t be more excited to see her kicking ass (and half naked) in this new official trailer for Everly, available on iTunes and On Demand January 23, 2015 and in limited theaters February 27, 2015.

Wrong Turn 2 and Knights of Badassdom‘s Joe Lynch directs the tale of a woman (played by Salma Hayek) forced to take arms against a sea of assassins dispatched by her mob boss ex-husband. Continue reading

Not The First Rodeo For The Final Girls

ginnyEvery movie has a “final girl”, the one heroine who survives the slasher and goes on to tell the tale. (how else would we get a sequel?) Of course we all know some time down the road, the killer will come looking for you again. Here’s a trailer for Final Girls, shot in Chicago back in 2013.

The filmmakers will test the film with an audience at the Kansas City’s Panic Film Festival. The director of the film, Matt Storc, and two of the stars, Ashley Nickell and Emily Rochester, will be in attendance for a Q&A after the film. Continue reading
