Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell Making Evil Dead TV Series, Campbell To Star

evildeadremakeLast week  San Diego Comic-Con that he’s been developing a television series based on his The Evil Dead franchise.

He also explained on the “The Last of Us” panel that he and his brother Ivan, along with Bruce Campbell, are currently writing the Evil Dead series.

Shortly there after, Campbell responded to a fan, via Twitter, confirming that the intentions are for him to star in said series. Continue reading

Robert Englund To Say Goodbye To Freddy, Forever

freddyRobert Englund will officially say goodbye to Freddy Krueger at this July’s Flashback Weekend here in Chicago.

The official website announced that Englund, who will be appearing at the convention to sign autographs, will be donning his iconic Freddy makeup that made him famous.

Dead Rising Coming to the Big Screen…Kinda

dead-rising-e3-2006-pic4-2It’s hard to believe that Dead Rising made its debut on the Xbox 360 eight long years ago. It was the reason my wife and I even got an Xbox 360, and now, six games later and we’re finally getting a feature-length movie adaptation.

Finally! A Boxset With Every Halloween Film!

funnymyersWhelp, I can kiss another $170 goodbye. Anchor Bay and Scream Factory will release Halloween: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray September 23rd. It comes in two different sets, one with 10 discs and the other with 15, but the deluxe version is most certainly the way to go since it contains restored versions of alternate cuts of many of the films, including the incredibly rare Halloween 6 Producers Cut, which is almost a completely different film from the theatrical release.
