Warner Bros. Rebooting Gremlins, Childhoods Ruined
Did you wake up this morning and think, “My childhood hasn’t completely been destroyed yet.”? Neither did we, but that’s not going to stop Warner Bros. from trying to poo poo on what little we have left.
In an article over at Aint it Cool News discussing a second Goonies, they tease that Warner Bros. Pictures is moving quickly on rebooting Joe Dante’s Steven Spielberg-produced Gremlins, which doesn’t come as much of a shocker considering it has been rumored for years.
Jason’s Mom’s Pinup Shot
In “the hot ones are always crazy” news, check out Betsy Palmer (Mrs. Voorhees) in this 1950’s promo photo. Lookin like she came fresh from the set of Mad Men, we get a rare look at the beauty, before she went batty in the original Friday The 13th. Continue reading

Ghostbusters Sequel a Bust Again
We’ve already said “the universe does NOT want this Ghostbusters reboot to happen”. Today we bring you more evidence of that, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (directors of 21 Jump Street, Lego Movie), are no longer on board to direct the third film in the franchise.
The duo took the helm when Ivan Reitman left, following the death of long time friend/Ghostbuster Harold Ramis. Columbia Pictures is currently searching for yet another director, horror fans are crossing their fingers.
Nick Frost’s Directorial Debut To Be Horror Short
Nick Frost (Shaun Of The Dead) has announced he direct a horror short he wrote earlier this year. No plot details or title have been released.
Frost on directing, “Our films, we have so much say in terms of how it should be done. Not with Edgar (Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz) — Edgar’s different because he’s a savant and has worked out every possible angle before we even got to set, but the things I do without Edgar, people are always happy for you to pipe up and say, ‘Hey, maybe we should shoot this here.’”
First Wolf Creek 2 U.S. Trailer
My favorite type of horror movie is where the bad guy wins, and no bad guy won quite as bad ass as Mick Taylor did in Wolf Creek. Next month we get to see if Mick remains undefeated in Wolf Creek 2 and Yahoo! just revealed the first trailer. Check it out!
Image Entertainment will be giving Wolf Creek 2 a VOD release on April 17th with a theatrical run set for May 16th.
