All hail! Dust off your gauntlets, apply your corpse paint, put on your bullet belt and hold up your imaginary heart it’s times for the metals! This week’s movie is bat shit insanity from New Zealand in the form of Deathgasm! We’ve been waiting for this movie for quite some time and it’s finally here! For the first time we’re recording out of Casa de Franco, we bust out our horrible Dethklok impersonations, Jorge explains his problem with the metals, Matt is sleep deprived and delirious, Chris sets us up to sing Sabotage and Too Many Cooks, and we missed both cues. We also manage to throw in some comic book news, musical tidbits, a little vinyl talk AND horror tv, it’s almost like we know what we’re doing. That’s just what we call pillow talk, baby. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast episode 51.
If there’s anything I love more than being scared, it’s watching other people get so scared they shriek and flail about! In conjunction with Universal’s Ouija, out October 24th, a new prank video (in the comments) has been released, utilizing the famous board game for some real scares.
“This Ouija Psychic” has a unique ability: she can pop her eyes out at any time (she became famous for this). A remote controlled planchette and a dead person breaking through the floor were added to the mix to create a terrifying psychic reading experience. Hidden cameras captured the whole thing. Hello there chiiiiiildren! We took a different approach to the episode this week, we were having drinks with our buddy Cody from ThreeBZine.com. and decided “Hey! We’ve had tons of beers, why not do a podcast?!” So we did, and it’s amazing. We don’t do a movie review this time around. Instead, we talk horror news, movies that have scared us, what we want from horror movies, and a lot more. Find out why Jorge feels guilty for banging weenie, what Matt is actually good for, and all kinds of other dumb shit you’ll lose brain cells hearing. Tune in next time when we still do whatever we want; because in a land of crap, we’re the shit!
It is my unfortunate duty to report; despite making it through 2013 without a Paranormal Activity film, this year we will have not one, but two. Armed with this knowledge, and a massive hangover from Three Kings Day, we take a look at Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (Cheech’s Revenge). We all know the best way to revive a dying franchise is to give it an overly ethnic spinoff. So come along as we kick this shit off like gang busters! You’ll find out what tequilla no real Mexican drinks, learn all about “squaxing”, catch a sneak peak at the new “Call of Duty: Witches” and find out why Mikey is the most white Mexican you’ve never met. Put on your boots, boys and girls, we’re layin it on thick! It’s the Who Goes There?! Podcast. Tune in next time when we talk about “Here Comes The Devil” with special guest Lauren Ashley Carter!
Welcome to 2014, and episode 14 of the Who Goes There?! Podcast! We all love Disneyland, we all love horror, it seems only logical we would review Escape From Tomorrow, a movie filmed entirely undercover at Disneyland. Have you ever wondered where the best place to do bad things at Disneyland is? Have you ever had to ride It’s a Small World 12 times in a row? Or if you just want to know why Jorge’s hands are sticky, listen in, and enjoy episode 14.
Welcome again to another delayed episode of the Who Goes There?! Podcast. This week we’re joined by WGT super fan, and Jorge’s cousin, Aubrey. While drinking our way through sickness, we discuss mommy issues, the proper way to scalp someone, and eventually we take look at Maniac 2012 a remake of the 1980 classic of the same name. As always we continue your continued support, it makes this worth while. With that, sit back, relax, and enjoy the train wreck, this is episode 12.
Sorry for the delay in bringing you this episode, we weren’t happy with our original episode 11, and decided to scrap and record a whole new episode. This week we talk about coprophagia, interracial relations, birth defects, and what happened to Beans from Even Stevens. At some point we take a look at the season premiers of American Horror Story: Coven, and fan favorite, The Walking Dead. Joined this week by Carlos and Alia, this episode is exactly what you’ve come to expect from this show; complete chaos. Tune in next time when we review something we probably didn’t plan on reviewing.
Happy fuckin birthday! We’re big boys now, and we’re celebrating our 10th episode (as well as Mikey and Jorge’s birthdays) with the film that inspired the name of our podcast The Thing! This film is truly a classic piece of cinema history, and we gush all over both the 1982 John Carpenter classic, as well as the 2011 prequel. There’s still plenty of horrible, blue collar jokes, beer, belching, and geeking out to shock and offend your friends and family. Check out our Facebook to win a sweet The Thing prize pack, and watch along with our 30 Nights of Horror movie marathon. Come back next time when we discuss the creepy new Michael Cera flick Magic Magic.
Sick of zombies yet? We didn’t think so, since we’re not creative, we decided to do a zombie episode. We take a look at internet miniseries Zombie With A Shotgun, then fly off the rails into a booze infused zombie discussion. Buckle up, this is gonna get rough. Joined again by Mikey, and our buddies, the beer chugging, blog writing, video game playing, and crazy fat food making, Carlos and Swolepeer. Tune in next week for episode 10 when we take a look at the John Carpenter version of The Thing, as well as the 2011 prequel!
Jorge’s baby was born last week! Keeping with the baby/”birthing” theme, this week we look at Bad Milo, the legend of Ron Donald, castration, as well as bitching about the “heat” in San Diego. Joined once again by Alia and Mikey, this episode is not one to be missed. We are now on Facebook, feel free to like us there. We’re also on iTunes, please go there, subscribe, and leave us a 5 star rating and a nice review. And as always follow us on Twitter.
We had a bit of an issue with our sound as we were using a different setup this week, it’s not anything too bad, but it’s not up to our usually high, professional standards.
