Who Goes There Podcast – “Minisode” Walking Dead Season 4 Review

TheWalkingDeadWallpaper4A while back we were sitting around with our buddy Carlos “Warm Babies” Bielma discussing the Walking Dead Season 4 and decided to record a fun “season wrap-up mini episode”, then shit got stupid and it turned into a “full length mini episode”.

Now, before you go whining and say “the season ended well over a month ago!”, we’d like to say, “shut your stupid face”! If you’ve listened to one of the previous episodes with Carlos, you’d understand it’s taken us that long to edit this trainwreck. We also try out “Dock Street Walker“, a beer made specifically for the season finale by the fine folks at Dock Street Brewery in Philadelphia. They were kind enough to send us a couple of bottles of the American pale stout, made with cranberries with roasted goat brains. Yeah, goat brains.

So grab a beer (you’re gonna need it), and find out once again, why we swear we’ll never have Carlos back on the show. It’s the Who Goes There Podcast Walking Dead Season 4 wrap-up minisode.

Walking Dead Spinoff To Be Unrelated To Comics

The-Walking-Dead-Season-1-11You can’t please everyone, all the time, and AMC’s The Walking Dead is a prime example of this. The zombie drama (loosely) based on the long running comic of the same name is a smash hit, a hit that has left a sour taste in the mouths of many long time fans. One of the biggest complaints being the show has strayed too far from the books, and is far too drawn out.

In what has yet to be determined as either an attempt to appease those fans, or mearly another cash grab AMC announced “The Walking Dead” spinoff, which Kirkman already revealed that follow “another group of characters, surviving in another part of the world.” Some see it as a chance at a clean slate, as Kirkman also revealed that it would not “use any of the core cast from” the current show. Nick Frost’s Directorial Debut To Be Horror Short

Nick-FrostNick Frost (Shaun Of The Dead) has announced he direct a horror short he wrote earlier this year. No plot details or title have been released.

Frost on directing, “Our films, we have so much say in terms of how it should be done. Not with Edgar (Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz) — Edgar’s different because he’s a savant and has worked out every possible angle before we even got to set, but the things I do without Edgar, people are always happy for you to pipe up and say, ‘Hey, maybe we should shoot this here.’

Walking Dead – Season 4 Finale

rapture-savageThe picture to the left is what Google gave me when I searched for “giant fuckin letdown”. The phrase “giant fuckin letdown” is what AMC gave me in place of the season 4 finale of The Walking Dead. Don’t worry, we’re not going to go throwing out spoilers, for those of you who haven’t watched yet. I am however curious if you folks were as let down as me, has the Walking Dead boned you too many times? Will you be back next season? I say they stop working on this “companion show”, and work on making a show that isn’t consistantly disappointing.

NY Mets Host 2nd Annual Zombie Night

The universe is definitely smiling on me when 2 of my favorite things come together. No, I’m not talking about peanut butter, and bacon; I’m talking about horror and baseball! Unlike every episode of our show thus far, I’m NOT talking about The Battery.

For Zombie Night, (June 13) the NY Mets are teaming up with the non-profit organization BOOM!Health. Each ticket purchase gives a $10 donation to BOOM!Health, which helps to transform lives through health and wellness in New York City and enables New Yorkers living with and at highest risk for illness, addiction, homelessness and poverty to realize their full potential. There are packages available for individuals and businesses to give and receive more on Zombie Night.

Who Goes There?! Podcast Episode 15 – Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

Paranormal Activity The Marked OnesIt is my unfortunate duty to report; despite making it through 2013 without a Paranormal Activity film, this year we will have not one, but two.
